Woodfield Systems Ltd, a leader in innovative marine loading arm solutions and newly acquired by Woodfield systems International, and UK partner Flotech Performance Systems Ltd, a renowned provider of comprehensive services to the UK petrochemical industry, are proud to reinforce their exclusive strategic service and support partnership in the UK. This collaboration aims to redefine our marine loading arm product, service and support offering, enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability for clients in the UK.
Flotech, in partnership with the Woodfield Systems Ltd and Woodfield International expertise, are the only external partner to have full access to OEM technical support and back catalogue of marine loading arm installed base technical files (from the last 100 years of marine engineering excellence) in order to fully support, service and overhaul the existing installed base using OEM knowledge and parts.
The retained OEM drawings, stress files, history and full documentation suite gives the Woodfield group and its partner Flotech the unique ability to supply OEM parts, service, maintenance, refurbishment and, where required, modification of the Woodfield loading arms. We believe that a key factor in marine loading arm reliability and safety is using OEM knowledge and parts to original specifications and, where modifications are required, only a full OEM understanding can allow a guaranteed safe and effective solution.
Installed base support
Woodfield Systems and Flotech, are pleased to reinforce their commitment to providing robust support for the UK installed base of marine loading arm infrastructure. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency, safety, and longevity of existing systems, ensuring optimal performance across the UK marine loading arm infrastructure.
Proactive maintenance programs
The partnership will implement proactive maintenance programs tailored to the specific needs of the UK installed base. Regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely upgrades will be offered to ensure the systems operate at peak performance, reducing the risk of unexpected failures. We will also be implementing a streamlined reporting process, using ATEX iPads to ensure site reports are received as efficiently as possible.
Rapid response teams
Dedicated rapid response teams will be strategically located across key UK hubs. These teams will be equipped to provide immediate on-site assistance, ensuring that any technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Spare parts availability
To support the UK installed base, Woodfield UK is holding the same level of stock that it always did in the past. Where possible, an additional extensive inventory of critical spare parts will be developed and maintained within the country. This ensures that, as far as possible, replacement components are readily available, significantly reducing lead times and ensuring swift repairs.
Training and certification programs
Comprehensive training and certification programs will be offered to operations and maintenance personnel. This initiative aims to enhance the skillset of on-site teams, enabling them to operate safely and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks effectively.

Flotech Performance Systems are sole UK distributors for Brodie International.
The growing portfolio Brodie offers includes fiscal measurement solutions which apply across the upstream and downstream petroleum markets. All solutions incorporate Brodie’s high precision PD meters in conjunction with our piston control valves. This is the unique combination that sets the standard for accuracy, stability and reliability throughout the industry.

Flotech Performance Systems are sole UK distributors for ErectaStep.
ErectaStep, based in South Carolina, improves safety and productivity with OSHA & IBC compliant aluminum stairs, metal work platforms, crossover stairs, and portable stairs. Save time, money and eliminate custom fabrication with ready to ship modular access solution that is comprised of 5 main components which can be configured into to an endless number of configurations. The modular nature of ErectAStep allows the user to repurpose and adapt their configuration as their business evolves.

Flotech Performance Systems are sole UK distributors for Posiwell Double Block & Bleed Gate Valves.

SafeRack specialises in railcar and truck loading and fall protection solutions by being the leading provider of loading platforms, gangways, loading ramps, rolling access platforms, loading safety cages, marine aluminium gangways and fall protection systems. SafeRack uses patent-pending designs and advanced laser technology to provide superior quality and extended durability.

Flotech Performance Systems are UK distributors for UltraTech products and exclusive UK distributors for Gentoo Hydrophobic Coating.
UltraTech was formed in 1993 with one goal in mind: to create the world’s finest offering of spill containment and spill response products. Since then, its vision has expanded into additional product categories and the company now features a product line that consists of over 300 unique products. Focusing intensely on meeting customer needs in an innovative and cost-effective manner, the company has introduced an average of 20 new products per year.
At Flotech we work closely with UltraTechs range of spill containment products, as well as their two high-tech coatings Ultra-Ever Dry and Gentoo.
YellowGate
Flotech Performance Systems are exclusive UK distributors and European Master Distributors of YellowGate.
YellowGate manufacturers specialized OSHA compliant swing gates that open in one direction and a safety gate that prevents an operator from falling back through after entry. Other products include barrier gates. YellowGate, just like its sister companies Erect-A-Step and Roll-A-Step, is manufactured in the USA and built to last in both indoor and outdoor work environments.
