Saferack MaxRack
Used for accessing the top of vehicles for bulk loading or accessing top hatches, the MaxRack is the only powered elevating safety cage and platform on the market that can be raised and lowered manually if your facility loses power or plant air.
- Multiple hatch standard and custom fall protection cage configurations.
- Available for both truck and railcar applications.
- Cage sizes range from 4.5m to 10m in length and 1.2m to 3m in width to suit your most demanding or difficult applications.
- Safe, durable and easy to use. MAXRack is built with galvanized steel column supports and lifting arms (cages can be aluminium, carbon steel, or stainless steel depending on the application).
- Unique counterbalanced cage design coupled with our exclusive dual input gearbox enables smooth operation.
- Counterweighted design allows for smaller, less expensive drive components.
- Pneumatic or electric motor drive options.
- Off-the-shelf replacement parts available quickly & easily.
Elevating platform
Used to prevent falls from tank trucks, railcars and isotainers where operators require access to multiple hatches or washout caps. Lightweight aluminium construction and unique design features make these systems easy to raise and lower, whilst robust engineering eliminates downtime and repair costs. Easy field adjustment of both the cage size and working heights mean the unit can be re-purposed for a variety of vehicles and loading conditions.
Elevating safety cage system
The mechanically or pneumatically operated safety cage can be positioned from tanker to tanker to minimise gaps and offer the maximum level of protection. Handrails can be specified to cover a single access point or to extend the length of the truck giving the flexibility to unload from multiple hatches.
YellowGate universal safety gate
The YellowGate universal safety gate provides employees with a safe working environment in any area where gates, barriers or railings are required under HSE legislation.
It is EN14122 compliant and adjustable in length from 405mm to 915mm.
Applications of the YellowGate safety gate include:
- Stairways
- Ladders
- Platforms
- Ladder protection
- Work platforms
- Scaffolding
Features include:
Swing direction
Changing the direction of a YellowGate’s swing is as simple as changing a few bolts. With other swing gates, changing swing direction requires flipping of parts or mounting positions that restrict installation flexibility. YellowGate opens to a maximum angle of 108 degrees.
Universal mounting
YellowGate’s universal mount can be installed in minutes using simple hand tools, with no cutting, welding or drilling. The mount can be fixed to walls, square or round tubing and angle iron in both parallel and perpendicular mounting positions.
Perpendicular mounting
Perpendicular mounting places the mount and hinge point outside of the passageway, maximising access width and minimising dangerous snag potential. This mounting configuration is commonly used with ladders and other narrow openings.
Parallel mounting
Parallel mounting attaches the mount so the gate handrail and hinge point are aligned. This mounting configuration is often used in large openings.
